Dorina Placinta

Dorina Placinta was born and raised in Moldova in a Christian family of six children, where faith, service, and a love for learning were central to her upbringing. The values of church involvement and ministry were instilled in her by her parents, older sisters, and grandfather. Summers spent at Christian camps during her teenage years in Moldova nurtured her passion for education and ministry, leaving a lasting impact on her life.

At the age of 15, Dorina moved to the United States, where she embraced new opportunities and pursued her passion for learning. She earned her doctorate degree from Elms College, graduating with the highest honors, Summa Cum Laude. With more than a decade of extensive experience in the medical field, Dorina has been able to combine her professional expertise with her heart for service.

At Providence Christian Academy, Dorina serves as the Admissions Director, where she works closely with families, guiding them through every step of the application and enrollment process. Her role allows her to share the mission of PCA and help families discover how the school can support students' academic and spiritual growth. Additionally, Dorina leads PCA’s health office and nurse volunteer department, overseeing a team of dedicated volunteers who provide vital support to the school community.

Dorina and her husband, Mike, are deeply grateful to God for their three children. Together, they have been actively involved in their local church, where they taught Sunday school and homeschooled their children through the early grades.These experiences have deepened Dorina’s appreciation for education rooted in Christian values, which aligns with PCA’s mission to promote academic excellence and spiritual development.

Dorina’s work at PCA reflects her lifelong commitment to faith, service, and education, as she strives to make a meaningful impact on students, families, and the school community.
