  3. Qualified candidates will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis.

  4. For those seeking admission to Providence Christian Academy, a parent must submit an online student application with a $50 non-refundable application fee.

  5. Kindergarten Applicants - The student must have turned 5 years old by October 1st in order to be admitted into Kindergarten, and 6 years old for 1st grade.

Entrance Testing Program

Upon acceptance, all 3rd through 8th grade incoming (new) students will undergo placement testing to determine what grade level the accepted student is most appropriate to be enrolled in. Grade placement will be determined by the administration. A probationary period of 6 (six) school weeks for all new students will be required for final appointments to grades. Written notification to parents of any change in grade placement will immediately follow the six (6) week probationary period in the fall.

The entrance testing program has been adopted for the following reasons:

- to inform the teacher of the child’s education requirements

- to assure placement in the grade for which the student is qualified

- to enable the school to maintain high standards

- to avoid the enrollment of students whose educational needs are better met in other environments (we aren’t equipped for special ed, IEPs, high behavioral needs, etc).
